Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and meet your Nasila Africa Safari guide, who will warmly welcome you and assist with your transfer to the hotel. The journey to the hotel takes approximately 45 minutes, though this may vary based on your arrival time. After breakfast, you’ll drive to the airport to catch your 08:00 flight from Arusha to Kogatende Airport in Northern Mara, Serengeti via Manyara or Seronera. Upon arrival at Kogatende airstrip around 10:30 to 11:00 am, you’ll meet your Nasila Safari guide, ready to embark on your safari adventure. Our Nasila Safari guides are experts, equipped with extensive knowledge to ensure you have an unforgettable safari experience along the North Mara River.

During your three-night stay, you’ll witness the world-famous Great Migration of wildebeest, zebras, and the Big Five, including cheetahs roaming the open savannah grasslands. Enjoy beautiful picnic stops for lunch and refreshments before continuing your afternoon game drive. You’ll arrive at your lodge by mid-afternoon, where you can watch thousands of wildebeest and zebras majestically move across the seemingly endless plains of the Serengeti National Park. Spend the night at your chosen lodge or camp in the northern Serengeti, enjoying full board accommodations.

Depart from Serengeti National Park around 6am to search for nocturnal predators returning from their night’s hunt and animals waking up at dawn. A delicious bush breakfast will be packed for you, and you’ll take a brief stop to enjoy the sunrise. Your Nasila Safari guide will accompany you in seeking prides of lions, cheetahs, and leopards along the rock areas and open grasslands, all abundant in North Serengeti. Your guide will share extensive knowledge about this area and its wilderness before returning to your lodge for lunch.

In the afternoon, once the sun is less intense, you have the option to go on an early evening game drive or a nature walk around the camp with the resident tribesmen or guide, who will share their knowledge of the region’s plants and animals. The day’s plans are flexible and can be tailored to your preferences after a brief chat with your guide. If you wish to maximize your time in the park, lunch can be packed for a long, relaxing day to explore nature more thoroughly. While the day may be long, it promises a great experience.

fter breakfast, drive to central Serengeti to continue our exploration. This area boasts diverse habitats, including riverine forests, swamps, kopjes, open grasslands, and woodlands. These environments attract numerous small animals and large predators, such as big cats. Lions often lie in wait or hide in ambush for potential prey. There are several circuits where you can see hippos and many other animals coming to drink, as well as leopards basking in the branches of acacia trees. The game drive here is particularly spectacular, carefully planned to be at the right place at the right time.

Day 6
After breakfast, begin your journey to the stunning Ngorongoro Conservation Area. With lunch packed, you’ll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site formed when a volcano exploded and collapsed in on itself 2-3 million years ago. Before descending, you have the option to visit a traditional Maasai village to experience how this ancient tribe has lived for hundreds of years in their traditional manyattas (houses).

Once in the crater, with its 2,000-foot-high walls, you’ll find a high concentration of wildlife. Many animals inside the crater don’t migrate, making it one of the areas with the highest concentrations of wild animals in the world. During your game drive, you’ll stop for a picnic lunch at one of the many scenic spots.

Around 4 pm, you’ll depart for your lodge in Karatu, where you can spend the evening relaxing and enjoying dinner. Overnight at one of the chosen lodges in Karatu, with full board accommodations.
