Early Life
Born and raised in the heart of Selela Village, Mto wa Mbu, Monduli District, along the majestic Rift Valley by Lake Natron (Oldonyo Lengai), Reuben Lengooyo has always been connected to the land he calls home.
As a child of the Maasai people, Reuben grew up in a world of nomadic livestock herding, learning the intricate rhythms of nature, animal behavior, and the landscape around him. This deep connection to the land and its wildlife laid the foundation for his future as a travel guide, and eventually the founder of Nasila Africa Safaris.

Since 2008, Reuben has worked with several renowned safari companies, where his intimate understanding of the wild, honed through years of Maasai traditions, became an invaluable asset.
His passion for sharing the beauty of his homeland with travelers led him to establish Nasila Africa Safaris.
Through his own safari company, Reuben offers a personalized and authentic safari experience, blending his wealth of traditional knowledge with his expert guiding skills.
