Taste of Tanzania
OVERVIEW
Three Parks, One Unforgettable Adventure
This journey brings together three of northern Tanzania’s most iconic landscapes—Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara, and Tarangire—each offering its own rhythm, beauty, and encounters with the wild.
Begin at Ngorongoro, where the rim opens to reveal a hidden world below. On the crater floor, wildlife moves freely—lion, buffalo, rhino, elephant, and herds of zebra and wildebeest—all within reach, yet somehow untouched.
From there, head to Lake Manyara, nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley. This small park is rich in life—elephants in the forest, flamingos on the lake, and the rare chance to spot lions resting in trees.

ARRIVAL IN ARUSHA
You’ll be met on arrival by one of our team—a familiar face from the land you’ve come to explore. From there, it’s a gentle transition into your journey.
There’s time to settle in, exhale, and enjoy a good meal as your guide walks you through the days ahead. No rush, no fuss—just the beginning of something special.
DAY 1
You’re collected early, as the day begins with soft light and open roads. The journey takes you to Lake Manyara National Park, a landscape of forest, open floodplain, and shimmering lake, tucked beneath the Rift Valley escarpment.
You’ll spend the morning exploring—elephants weaving through fig trees, giraffes moving like shadows, flamingos gathered at the water’s edge. With luck, you might spot a lion stretched out in the branches above.
After a quiet lunch in the bush, the road winds on toward your next stop. As the day fades, you arrive just in time to watch the sky shift and settle into the hush of evening.
Ngorogoro Crater
DAY 2
After breakfast, you set out toward the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, where the view opens suddenly—a vast, unbroken caldera holding one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife havens.
Descending to the crater floor, you’ll spend the day exploring its shifting terrain—lions in the long grass, hippos in the shallows, elephants moving between the acacias, and, if you’re lucky, a glimpse of the elusive black rhino.
A picnic lunch is shared in the open air, with the sounds of the wild never far off. By late afternoon, you make your way out of the crater and onward to camp, arriving as the light begins to fade and the bush settles into evening.
Tarangire
DAY 3
An early start takes you south to Tarangire, where wide open plains and towering baobabs set the stage for your final day on safari.
You’ll spend the morning exploring the park’s rich, untamed landscapes—elephant herds winding through the dust, lions resting beneath trees, giraffes moving quietly across the horizon.
After a relaxed lunch, the journey begins back toward Arusha or Moshi, with time to reflect on all the wild beauty you’ve shared.
A farewell to Tarangire, but not to the memories it leaves behind.
